One helped shape football as we know it, the other is Pele. Andrew Watson captained Scotland to a 6-1 win over England on his debut in 1881. He was a pioneer, the world's first black international, but for more than a century the significance of his achievements went unrecognised. Research conducted over the past three decades has left us with some biographical details: a man descended of slaves and of those who enslaved them, born in Guyana, raised to become an English gentleman and famed as one of Scottish football's first icons. Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been pictured with the Brazilian and Barcelona legend Ronaldinho this week whilst Pogba has been enjoying his summer break in Miami.

Pogba, who was considered to be one of the players of Euro 2020, was part of the France squad who were shockingly eliminated in the round of 16 by Switzerland, losing on penalties.

Since France's departure, Pogba has also been seen with former Juventus teammate Paulo Dybala before later being pictured in a Florida nightclub with Ronaldinho.

In the video of the pair partying in Florida, Ronaldinho and Pogba embraced and clearly showed great respect for one another.

The French midfielder is enjoying the final weeks of his holidays before he is scheduled to return to Manchester United for the new season later this month.

United have reportedly entered discussions with Pogba to extend his contract until at least 2022 however both parties are reportedly not close to an agreement.

According to reports in France this week, Pogba is now open to returning to France this summer with Paris Saint-Germain showing great interest in the midfielder.

PSG have already announced the signing of Georginio Wijnaldum, as they are set to also announce the arrivals of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos and Achraf Hakimi which will significantly strengthen Mauricio Pochettino's squad.

Pogba had a better season with United last year, yet there have still been suggestions that his performances are inconsistent, particularly in comparison with those for France.

Whilst Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to keep the French star at Old Trafford, he is reportedly aware that the best outcome may be selling the player if he refuses to extend his contract as it is due to expire next year.

Some Manchester United Fans Believe Paul Pogba Is A Bigger Club Legend Than Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Some Manchester United Fans Believe Paul Pogba Is A Bigger Club Legend Than Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Some Manchester United fans are arguing Paul Pogba is a bigger club legend than former player and current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Pogba is currently in his second stint with the Red Devils and played a key role in 2017's Carabao Cup and Europa League wins.

Solskjaer arrived in England from Molde in 1996 and won six Premier League titles as well as the Champions League before retiring in 2007.

The Norwegian played a vital role in the 1998-1999 treble winning side and even score the dramatic winner against Bayern Munich in the Champions League final.

He returned as caretaker manager in 2018 before taking the role full-time in 2019 - but some see Pogba a class above.

Some arguments being used point to the fact that Solskjaer was mainly used as a 'super sub' under Sir Alex Ferguson.

But his contributions to United history cannot be denied and furious supporters have leapt to the 48-year-old's defence.

One said: "Has Pogba scored a goal that won United the most legendary treble in football history? Get your head out your a**."

Another replied: "In what universe? Paul hasnt done even 5% of what Ole has done for the club."

A third stated: "It's really sad how many United fans think that Ole's only achievement as a player is scoring the last minute winner."

While someone put: "Phil Jones is a bigger Manchester United legend than Paul Pogba."

Paul Pogba Criticises Jose Mourinho In Explosive And Brutally Honest New Interview

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has well and truly opened up about his relationship with Jose Mourinho in an explosive new interview.

Pogba, who didn't exactly see eye-to-eye with Mourinho during his time at Old Trafford, explained the differences in coaching and management between Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his former boss, as well as various other topics.

He also accused the Portuguese manager of casting him aside without any explanation.

"What I have now with Ole is different, he wouldn't go against the players," Pogba told Sky Sports. "He wouldn't go against the players.

"Maybe Ole wouldn't pick them, but it's not like he puts them on the side like they don't exist anymore. That's the difference between Mourinho and Ole.

"Once I had a great relationship with Mourinho, everybody saw that, and the next day you don't know what happened. That's the strange thing I had with Mourinho and I cannot explain to you because even I don't know. So, yeah."

Mourinho had a turbulent and at times, volatile relationship with Pogba during his time at Manchester United and that precarious relationship looked to be at boiling point when awkward footage from Carrington emerged.

The incident was described as 'frosty' at the time, with Pogba's glances at his manager far from welcoming. Mourinho, meanwhile, looked equally as frustrated by his player's actions.

It came after Pogba was stripped of the vice-captaincy.

In his recent interview with Sky Sports, Pogba explained the difference between Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Jose Mourinho while pointing out some of the Norwegian's best assests.

"Maybe [Solskjaer's methods work] because he is a bit closer to the people," the World Cup winner explained.

"Every coach has their own way to coach and deal with players, and as a player you have to adapt. Sometimes it doesn't suit you and sometimes it does.

"Ole has helped Luke a lot, it was a difficult season with Luke and Mourinho, and he has proved he has the quality he always had and the trust of the manager."

Pogba also spoke about Mourinho's actions after Spurs' defeat against Manchester United last weekend. The 58-year-old slammed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for his comments about Son Heung-Min in his post-match interview.

"I don't know what happened, I'm sure Mourinho said something that would make people speak, that's what he does.

"We got the result we wanted, Ole knows it and we enjoyed that moment because we know Mourinho and we know what he likes. We don't need this [war of words], we just focus on us.

"We won the game, he lost the game and he doesn't want to speak about the game, he wants to speak about the dad of someone, that's what he does. Everybody knows him, it's very Mourinho."

Manchester United Legend Paul Scholes Slams Scott McTominay And Fred

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes slammed the displays of Red Devils pair Scott McTominay and Fred in the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was hoping to mark his 100th game in charge of United with a repeat performance of the 5-0 mauling of RB Leipzig in the Champions League.

However, it was Arsenal who took the points after Paul Pogba's clumsy foul on Hector Bellerin allowed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score what proved to be the winning goal from the penalty spot.
