The Stranger in My Mirror When I was a child, my grandmother used to say, "The border is something people draw on maps. Hunger, hope, and grief don't stop to check passports." I nodded whenever she said it, but I never truly understood. Years later, I found myself standing outside a small grocery shop in Johannesburg, watching a crowd shout at a man with a Zimbabwean accent. They called him names. They told him to go home. Some threw stones. I stood there and did nothing. In my mind, I justified it. They're taking jobs. They're making life harder. They don't belong here. I was Black. I was African. Yet somehow, I believed another Black African was less deserving than I was because he had crossed a border. A week later, load shedding hit our neighborhood. The only shop still open was the same Zimbabwean man's store. I went in because I needed bread. He greeted me with a smile. "How are you, brother?" Brother. Not stranger. Not South African. Not c...

To be with you
To make you my close friend
To make belong to each other
To always end our days in each other’s hands
 It’s all because of the comfort, the trust,  the love the relaxation
To mention just a few
It doesn’t mean , l want to have someone to make love to,
It doesn’t mean l just want someone to give me babies
It doesn’t mean l just want someone to call my wife
It doesn’t mean l just want some to be seen by people  moving around with.
To be with you means l will redeemed
No matter how hard the day might be
 When l am with you it has change its shape
You are the redeemer of my soul, that brings me close to Christ
For to receive Christ you need to be happy you have to create a worm environment
I may be affected by work , people at work can do all sorts of harm
That can make me a sad person, unhappy and angry at times
All will change when l come close to you
Engulfed  in the comfort of your love
 Enhancing a feeling of belonging
Giving birth to a new feeling
A feeling of joy,  happiness, love
That will carry me to the next day
And face its new challenges  as everyday has its own challenges
So to be with you  means a lot???????????

 Here's the story: We sat down with a man who had a harrowing journey with addiction. He began by telling us about his early days in tertiary education, where he would occasionally smoke dagga with friends. However, his focus remained on his studies, and he worked hard to graduate and secure a qualification. After landing a job, he started building a life for himself. He got married, bought a property, and even splurged on a car. Life was good, and he felt like he was on top of the world. But one fateful night, while out with friends, he was introduced to heavier narcotics. At first, the experience was exhilarating. He described it as an elevation from the mild high of dagga to a level 5 high, where he felt invincible and euphoric. The effects would last for days, allowing him to party from Friday to Sunday without sleep.
