Four Seasons Before Lunch Gauteng (Pretoria)

 I have lived in Pretoria for half my life, but even at almost 50, l still am not ready for mornings like this . I step out of  home in the morning at 7 a.m., greeted by a warm, gentle breeze and sunshine so golden it felt like summer had arrived overnight. The sky was clear; the jacaranda trees glowed purple; the air smelled of warmth and possibility. “Perfect day,” l muttered, locking his door. By the time l drive out—five minutes later—the sky starts to be darkened. A cold wind came crawling in from nowhere, sweeping dust across the pavement. The temperature dropped so suddenly that  l have  to switch the heater for warmth. Laughing. “Ah, Pretoria… you never disappoint.” Halfway to the office, the heavens opened. Not soft rain— a storm . Sheets of water hammered the road, street gutters overflowed instantly, and distant thunder rolled like a grumpy giant waking up too early. Terrible accedent

Hours before New Year l witness a horrific accedent a texi / kombi fully loaded with people from Soshanguve burst the rear tyre, flue into the air out of the road and crashed upside down on middle tarmarck road. When l stoped on the side of the road with other pple to go and see people were scatered all over the ground. Its so unfortunate that we confirmed 3 dead on the sport 2 brothers ,1 beautiful sister crashed head first into the road. 1 small infant, thrown on the tar was just flat no breath. 1 brother had a rock deep in his head on the brains, bleeding from ears, mouth and cracks in the head. He might not make it also. Another dread man had his dread locks rooted off the head on impact in the tar. He was shrugging and or rolling all over ontop of the dead sister and back on ground. We need God's prayers that he may make it too. 4 sisters, 1 child and 3 brothers were crying and confused but badly injured. They needed quick help to be taken to hospital but with accedences you never know they may serious internal head injuries.  Most it was the head bleeding.The Lord have mercy on us. This is after l have drove past a person who was just hit by a car on Tsamaya road Mamelodi west. I am now home and finished work.

 Here's the story: We sat down with a man who had a harrowing journey with addiction. He began by telling us about his early days in tertiary education, where he would occasionally smoke dagga with friends. However, his focus remained on his studies, and he worked hard to graduate and secure a qualification. After landing a job, he started building a life for himself. He got married, bought a property, and even splurged on a car. Life was good, and he felt like he was on top of the world.
