 I have lived in Pretoria for half my life, but even at almost 50, l still am not ready for mornings like this . I step out of  home in the morning at 7 a.m., greeted by a warm, gentle breeze and sunshine so golden it felt like summer had arrived overnight. The sky was clear; the jacaranda trees glowed purple; the air smelled of warmth and possibility. “Perfect day,” l muttered, locking his door. By the time l drive out—five minutes later—the sky starts to be darkened. A cold wind came crawling in from nowhere, sweeping dust across the pavement. The temperature dropped so suddenly that  l have  to switch the heater for warmth. Laughing. “Ah, Pretoria… you never disappoint.” Halfway to the office, the heavens opened. Not soft rain— a storm . Sheets of water hammered the road, street gutters overflowed instantly, and distant thunder rolled like a grumpy giant waking up too early. The Lamborghini Urus is easily the most famous performance SUV in the world, but it's not peerless. German twin-turbo SUVs have begun to give it some trouble. While the Italians still don't offer any performance gains, you can always drop $500,000 on a tuned version.

This is the Lamborghini Urus P820 Venatus by Mansory. Even though the internet has almost unanimously decided it's ugly, we counted at least four others that must have been sold already. If your target is to confirm you've got way too much money to spend, it really gets the message across.

The highlight of this particular build is the Bronzo Zenas paint finish, which is synonymous with another expensive Lamborghini, the Aventador SVJ Roadster, which presented this particular metallic shade at its Geneva 2019 debut.

And while the Urus usually makes "only" 640 horsepower, this thing is more than a match for the SVJ (770 hp) in the output department. With the help of Mansory's dyno team, 809 hp (820 PS) have been unlocked. Plus, because it's turbocharged, the SUV produces about 50% more torque than its supercar counterpart - 774 versus 531 lb-ft(1,050 Nm versus 720 Nm).

That being said, we don't see the Bronze Zenas setting any Nurburgring records, even though it's trying to look ready for track use. The YouTube video by RoCars captures the essence of this insane carbon fiber widebody kit. The front looks like the mandibles of some alien insect. It's impossible to miss the carbon hood or the fact that fender flares have been installed.

But the real fun is at the back. There, we see an oversized wing sitting over the middle of the trunk lid while a diffuser inspired by the Centenario looks somewhat silly, given that this is still a high-riding SUV. Meanwhile, the central exhaust has three connecting diamond-shaped tips. You don't see something like this very often.

 Here's the story: We sat down with a man who had a harrowing journey with addiction. He began by telling us about his early days in tertiary education, where he would occasionally smoke dagga with friends. However, his focus remained on his studies, and he worked hard to graduate and secure a qualification. After landing a job, he started building a life for himself.
